There are two paths you can follow to verify your identity. To learn why identity verification plays an important role at Big Idea, please see <a href="https://intercom.help/bigideaplatform/en/articles/9524826-why-do-i-need-to-verify-my-identity" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Why do I need to verify my Identity?</a>

1. Option 1
   1. Click on the bell in the upper right-hand corner and click on the "Verify Your Account" button
      
       
2. Option 2
   1. Click on your Profile icon in the top right corner
   2. Navigate to the Profile section on the left hand side
   3. Scroll down to the "Identity Verification" section
   4. Click on the "Verify your Identity" button

1. You will be redirected a new Stripe page where you will need to allow Stripe the ability to complete the identity verification. To do so, click "Agree and Continue"

1. It is recommended that you complete the process by scanning the QR code with your mobile device. If you need to use another method, click on "Other Options"

1. Grant camera access for Stripe to scan the front of your ID
2. When ready to scan, click "I'm Ready"
3. Repeat this process for the back of your ID

1. Allow Stripe permission to complete a biometric scan of your face
2. Stripe will take 3 quick photos to compare with your ID. These photos are not kept or stored anywhere

1. Once the process is complete, both mobile and web pages will confirm verification submission.
2. Refresh the main page to see that your identity has now been verified under the Identity Verification section of your profile

   1. Option 1

      4. Click on the "Verify your Identity" button
2. Allow Stripe to Verify your Identity

6. Verify Submission is Complete
